Autobiography's are the only thing that I read, as well as papers and magz.
I only read sports ones
Good, the start is the best bit. Worth a read if you like football. 4/5
A great book. I may only think it is that good because I am a referee! 4.5/5

I tend to read biographies rather than autobiographies, because even the best autobiog will be partial; it's not that I'd ever read a "slasher" biog like Kitty Kelly; I just want to see a particular individual from someone else's viewpoint; the individual, even with the best will in the world, will be at the centre of his/her world, while the biographer can look at the subject in a wider context.
I'm not saying I'd never read (or even write!) one, but one thing I would avoid: anyone who titles his/her autobiog as "My autobiography" should be given a very wide berth. It may sound like a joke, but you'd be surprised at how many there are!

Only autobiography that I've ever read but I liked it a lot! A lot of interesting details. For example, I didn't know that Clinton was the last name of Bill's stepfather, not his real father who died in a traffic accident at a very young age.

I've read Roald Dahl's, which were a great read, as well as Richard Branson's.

I'm reading Clinton's autobiography at the moment actually. I'm thinking I'll move on to Hillary's after.
I've most recently re-read Alber Speer's "Inside the Third Reich", which is a fascinating read. It really highlights the madness of the Hitler regime and of Hitler himself.

That's the only English language autobiography that I can remember having read, though chances are there were a few more. I did enjoy it, but IIRC I read it back in 1989/90 (when it was new), so I can't really tell you why anymore.

My mum and sister have both read that book and they also speak very highly of it. I might pick it up one day and have a read!

He his a former Swissair pilot, ended as a MD11 captain and speaks about his sailing trip around the world and aviation stories, it's really fun to read! I had the pleasure to meet him when he took the time to visit us during one of our reharsals session with my music band. I asked him tons of questions about aviation stuff but he was more inclined to speak about sailing, he offered me his book. Thanks Otti !
