Well if you read the replies people have taken the time to post, it has already got peoples panties into a knot. Sad to see the kind of hatred in this day and age.

Ignorance, same difference...

Maybe we ought to send westy to them as a 'sensitivity' trainer!!!

PS: I just love the "I (my family) will not shop there anymore" statments.. I think these kind of remarks are WHY everyone should be implanted with RFID, that way, when you shoot your mouth off like this and show up at wal-mart the next day you get 'outed' for being the lying hypocrite you are.

Looks like to me Wal-Mart trying to play both sides..

Does the Wal-Mart decision effect them? No, just move on just let people live the life they chose.

Last time in a Wal-Mart store was 1998, in Colorado basically the only game in town.

Gosh, if some of these people *REALLY* follow through on their threat to not shop at Wal Mart ever again, it might make it a much much nicer place!

Of course these comments are mostly hogwash, if they can go to Wal Mart to save 5 cents on a tube of toothpaste as compared to the IGA down the street...they'll do it. Wal Mart has proven this time and time again.

if assumptions could fly, airliners.net would be the world's busiest airport

:D Big grin Big grin Where are these people going to shop instead... Target? It's a MUCH more gay-friendly corporation than Wal-Mart.

::smack smack smack:: Both of you!  Big grin

Walmart has been relegated to the not so nice areas of town here, and they want to expand down near where I live. All the local neighborhood organizations are up in arms, and for the past year there have been extensive anti-Walmart efforts all over the place, complete with lawn signs and a website (I forget the URL to it now).

Love some of the comments to the blog, though. Hilarious!

To Wal-mart, everybody's money is green and gender preference doesn't change that. Let the religious wingnuts go elsewhere.

Of course not. We've the good sense to do it behind the shrubbery in their front yards, FFS.

House or do you mean trailer, as in trailer park! Like Mom always said, "you can take the person out of the trailer, though you can not take the trailer out of the person!"

Liberty and justice for all.... who are conservative Christian idiots, that is.

What a crock... but hey, this is a glimpse into what America can be like... 'tolerance' is misunderstood term, no question.
