OK, this is a very preliminary thread about a future A.net meeting in a place you've never been before. About a month ago, JoKeR started similar thread and we discussed the idea a bit and my suggestion was that meeting should not be held before the introduction of Summer 2007 timetable (April) and nicer weather, so my wild guess is May. There are several reasons:
1. nobody likes boring scene
2. I don't like to freeze at the airport
3. there are rumors that airport authorities will not be as tough in the future as they used to be, so we need some more time
What we can offer is this:
1. recently renovated airport with growing traffic
2. extremely interesting Aviation Museum, which is, by some, among top 10 in the world. I don't know about that, but you should come and see it by yourselves.
2. great city
3. few days of fun
Interesting thing is that you would be able to fly here on, at least two LCCs: Germanwings and Centavia.
So, are you interested in discovering something new? Please, let me know.

well, we were planning to to do the PRG meet in June, but as the dates are not really set up yet, we can postpone the meeting for later so as the attedneed can take some breath between those two meets.

Hi Aleksanadar, I can´t say what´ll be in May, it´s so far yet, but if it´ll be possible, I´d like to come. But as I´m saying...it´s too soon yet for me to make plans for next spring/summer...

It's good we both started planning so early. Now we can make some arrangements about dates of meets, so people could come both to PRG and BEG and we must not forget our biggest "competition" next year - Le Bourget.

You're right. It is too early and that's why I said "possible". First, I wanted to know how many people are interested in this idea and give few more explanations about Belgrade itself and how you can come here and answer all the questions A.netters might have.

So far, we have four interested A.netters and I do hope more will join this. At the moment, number of interested people is something I'd like to know now so we could make further plans and there is a lot of time for details.
As for Centavia, we are all eager to see where would they fly. I also hope they will fly to BSL as they announced.

might be THE solution. I in the past have flown out of BSL on B.A.F. to Southend and on Air Inter (DassaultMercure) to Paris, just to clarify that people based in ZRH are NOT against flying out of MLH !

I can say now I cant come at May, since my final exams at the university are held at the beginning of June. Another problem is, that June is too late for Belgrade meet as we wanted to organize on at PRG... well well thats tough

Not a bad idea, but don't forget Le Bourget is in June, so my guess is May, but we'll discuss it more. Good thing about early planning is that we can all come to the best solutions. As far as people here are concerned a week sooner or later means nothing, so it is up to the rest of you to see which dates suits best.

Personally, I don't like March as it is boring and the weather is quite unpredictable. April is quite romantic in Belgrade and May is all green. I'm eagerly waiting for JoKeR with his idea. Where the hell are you?

Not a bad idea, but don't forget Le Bourget is in June, so my guess is May, but we'll discuss it more.

admittedly a bit egoistic of me, but we usually have hell in our business in May, so that is why I thought about June ! Beside the point that you will always collide with other dates. If LBG is in early June you might place your date at the END of that month.
