This is an all time franchise record.

65,000 season tickets sold, and counting.

100 out of 137 corporate suites have been sold, which is very good considering how Katrina really put a hurting on our corporate base over the past yeat.

I'm very proud of the local fans for stepping up and proving to the world, yet again, that New Orleans is a major league city.

Go Saints, and long live NOLA!

The weather will be nice here then, cool and not much rain...perfect weather for rebuilding. And no threat of hurricanes.

So does Tom Benson still want to move the team to SAT?

Oh no, not anymore. Well, at least until the state tells him after the season that they don't have enough money for a new stadium.  Smile

Plan on taking a football/gambling road trip in November to MSY with my best friend. Am very excited for the Saints and I watched Drew Brees play at Westlake when I was at Lake Travis!

Go Saints!  bouncy

Saints will be good this year with the additions of Reggie Bush and Drew Brees. They may not win the division, as Carolina is looking pretty tough, but they will be respectable. The selling of 65,000 tickets shows something about how important the team is to that area. I'm a Seahawks fan, but with all the shit the Saints and NOLA went through last season, I'm rooting for them to do well as well.

Very good to see the locals digging in and supporting the Saints in such a big way. Good luck to them.

I would hope it is the locals, but I wonder if it really isn't out of town $$$. Is the big easy ready to host big parties on Sundays?

Can I have some of what you're smoking?

Reggie Bush will be good but Brees will be his usual boat anchor self and continue to suck.

I hope you're wrong but have a feeling you may be right as imho he was not very impressive in preseason. The Superdome is coming along nicely though and should look good on it's Monday night debut against the Flacons on 09/25.
GO SAINTS!!!!

I have a feeling the Saits will magically remember they are the Saints and finish below .500 yet again.

Being a non-New Orleans resident Saints fan since 1987, I am very pleased the Saints have had a hand in New Orleans' healing process. Reggie Bush has done great things for the city, both literally and figuratively...

I must say I am excited for the upcoming season. We have a new QB (despite what some of my esteemed ANet collegues think, Drew Brees isn't that bad, and bum shoulder or not, anything is an upgrade from Aaron Brooks), a probable NFL superstar in Bush, and a new coach. Let's not forget Deuce has looked very good coming back from his season ending surgery. The team will be amped up from returning to New Orleans, so I foresee good things happening this year. Despite the fact that we have a brutal schedule, I think we can achive a 6 to 8 win season, and that would be a huge success considering what the team has gone through the last year. There is no where to go but up for this team, and God-willing, the city as well...

Geaux Saints...

Considering who his predecessor was (Aaron Brooks), even some stiff like Joey Harrington would have been a step up.....believe me, Brees and the rest of the offense will be fine, the defense is what will keep the Saints from winning more than 6 games this year.
