Just wanted to say rest in peace to the 2 friends I went to school with. May you never be forgotten.

My friend Lacey B. Ivory. I first met him way back in Germany in 1979. He worked for my first wife at the Military Personnel Center in Wiesbaden. Young kid then, but did himself proud and moved through the ranks in a US Military career culminating in his assignment at the Directorate Sergeant Major for the Assistant Chief of Staff for Personnel, US Army, The Pentagon. Lacey died 9/11 . . . . .

Another person I knew - but not as a friend - Larry Strickland, Sergeant Major, US Army, also perished that day in the Pentagon.

im sorry to hear from both of you... Must be hard.

Americans are strong, the 5 years after 9/11 have proven that. You Americans deserve my upper-most respect for how quick you guys could get back to ''normal'' after 9/11.

Horrible to have lost on that day, I can only vaguely imagine.

Seeing it all on tv was horrible enough, knowing someone you knew ended his/her life in the attacks, must be unsettling and very frustrating.

My heart goes out to all who might have lost or injured friends, family, children, grand children or co-workers on that horrible horrible day...  candle
