Has anyone SEEN a funny street name personally? I don't mean a picture or "oh I heard there is one called so and so..". I mean personally SEEN the sign.

I'll start. In North York we have a housing division called the "Morning Gloryway" and in Metro-Toronto "Fudger Gardens".

I'll take 100 litres a side AVGAS with Prist - C172 pilot

In Reno we have Bowling Alley and in Sparks we have Disc Drive. Both were intentional I believe.

Of course you are familiar with Dooby Avenue, even if you didn't go there this year.

I have always been a fan of this one.

Also in ANC, there is a Lois Drive, some superman nerds tried unsuccessfully awhile back to change it to Lois Lane.

There is a street in the Metro Detroit area (specifically, the city of Southfield) called "Lois Lane"

9VSPO, I've always loved that street sign. Many, many eons ago, I used
to live there. It's an intersection in the Inwood section of upper Manhattan
in NYC.

Yeah, it is real, named after Bush 41 who was CIA director in the late 70s I believe the time frame is. I have family I was visiting in DC and I begged to make the trip to Langely just to see the signs myself. I laughed for the rest of the day.

The focal point for the gay community in Manchester is a road called Canal Street. There is an on-going joke that if you drop the first letter of each of those two words, the resulting name spells something which might be more fitting to that particular group... Big grin

Do you live in Baltimore? There is a Gay Street downtown that runs through the red-light district (not that I would know where that is...)
