Oh yes, it´s that time of the week again!

What do you guys have stored up for this lovely weekend then?

It's 10:21 and i'm right now sitting in the backyard with my laptop, enjoying this marvelous late-summer weather that we're having here in Southern Sweden. We had 24 degrees C last day and that really surprises me. Anywho, later tonight it's bbq time again, along with a few cold brewskies, that should be nice.

Office party on Saturday (my B-day) at a dinner/theater. Grandma takes the boy for the night, might get friends to take the daughter for the night. Which means that on that night the wife gets wining, dining and then... biggrin

Over to pool party at friends house on Sunday.

Best part: Its all free.

Well nothing much is on the cards besides watching the football finals all weekend both in the NRL and AFL and a game of cricket with some friends. Should be fun  Smile

Well, I was planning to do quite a lot this weekend, but as my dear wife has done something nasty to her back and is somewhat incapacitated, I fear anything pleasurable is right out. I shall be doing the shopping, cleaning and all the usual crap that wife's do.

Today I undergo induction for my training course, and get the 14 books that I must learn over the next 7 months; tonight I will probably be out with the people on my course. Tomorrow is 'free' and then on Sunday we have team-building exercises.

This afternoon I can look forward to a nice sightseeing flight in A C172 over the Ruhr-Area with two friends (one of them on the controls). Afterwards we'll watch footie on TV and have a few beers.

Tomorrow we'll go to the Signal-Iduna Park (ex Westfalenstadion) to watch Borussia Dortmund vs. Hamburger SV, grandstand seats of course. Big grin Afterwards dinner and bar hopping in Dortmund.

Sunday I'll probably sleep the whole day.

Sounds good, eh? Aviation and footie, yayers!  bigthumbsup

It will be raining tomorrow, so I plan to stay in bed all day - woohoo !! I've had a long and exhaustipating week, I need to rest my weary bones.

On Sunday morning I'm off to Tunis for a 2 hour meeting on Monday afternoon - I have done all my preparation so I plan to leeyounge by the pool on Sunday afternoon, basking in the African sunshine - sounds like a plan to me.

Installing eaves troughs and downspouts, installing a chimney for a woodstove, sanding a door frame and consuming beer at (I kid you not) Catastrophe Lake.

It was awesome, dude!

The flight was really cool, we flew 1.5 hours over the Ruhr-Area and could spot a lot of things from above, for example all the football stadiums, airports like PAD, DTM, ESS, and DUS, etc, etc. I was a bit scared during the take-off roll because my friend who flew doesn't have his PPL for long but he did a fantastic job, it was a very enjoyable flight!  bigthumbsup

The football game was enjoyable as well, approx. 81.000 people made sure that there was a great atmosphere in the stadium, furthermore did Borussia Dortmund win with 1:0!  thumbsup

As for beer drinking... it was a little bit too much.  Wink We had a nice BBQ on Friday evening after the flight, we were four guys and drunk 40 bottles of beer. Big grin Yesterday evening we went to Dortmund City after the game, me and a friend spent approx. 170 EUR for beer and booze. We needed 30 minutes from the train station to my friend's apartment this morning, a sober person could make it in 10 minutes.  rotfl

Now excuse me, I need sleep, lots of it.  tired

Patrick
