Neat that someone else saw this too. I've also noticed how tall they were, working at a Dutch resort in Montana. Odd to have so many tall females around, when all the other ones in Montana seem to be getting smaller. Of course, we had a very tall Scottish girl too, so I did not immediately think anything of it.

PS-All you crazy Dutch people seem to be very nice, anyway.

Quoting DeltaOwnsAll (Thread starter): Average Dutchman is over 6 feet tall? Apparently average height could be 6 foot 3 for Dutch males in the next 50 yrs...
So at 6'4", I'll still be taller than the average Dutchmen then. Good.
Quoting Halcyon (Reply 1): Odd to have so many tall females around,
Sounds like I need to visit then, because I prefer tall women.
Then again, after being stuck down here at Embry Riddle, I'll take just about any woman I can get once I get out.

So I guess since I'm 5'9'', that I am average? Cool! However, I do wish that I was over 6'...

Some men are taller than you might expect, but a lot of women here are huge and distinctly un-feminine. The casual observer might be forgiven for thinking that the Netherlands is a country full of butch lesbians, but it's not.

This was definatly interesting reading.
I have always thought that the Scandinavians were the tallest people in the world.
But I gotta say tho that I have seen many tall people when I have been to the Netherlands. I just havent thought about it until now.
What do you Dutch eat and drink down there?
And does anyone have a list on this so we can see who comes next on that list.
That would be interesting to see.

I'm only 5'8", but Dutch blood though and through. Out of curiousity, would that be true for all the Netherlands, or just parts? A lot of my family came from the nothern parts, Friesland and Gronigen. Maybe that makes a difference.

When I did my military recruitment in 1987 the average length was 181cm for the 18 year-old males, I´m 183cm so I was above average. Whats that in feet and inches? I think sleeping has lot to do with your length as eating habits and genetics.
So what? Americans are most "Well-Endowed"! Of course, I don't have any articles to back my statement but we just can't let the Dutch get away with everything, now can we?

I was just over in Hoorn this past week on business. Many many many good looking women, even if many of them were taller than me.
It's also a different kind of good looking than I'm used to seeing. Very wholesome, honest kind of sexiness. Much different than the very fake girls I got used to seeing in college in Los Angeles.
Also, I've always found that people in much of Europe are significantly nicer and generally more helpful than in the US.
I think if I were going to move to a European country, I'd move to the Netherlands.

Yeah, you might as well, cause they're all single now...poor boyfriends that got left in the homeland. Not a bad lookin' breed overall.

Yeah, it does suck 100%, but at I kept my girlfriend so it's not so bad...here though it's embarassing...the one or two not so scary lookin' females have to endure the constant assault of all the horny guys. What a sad gender we are.
