Why? The airport code is good enough and cannot be confused with other airports. EKCH for example is good enough. There's only one airport with this code.

Excuse me ! I believe I correctly identified the airport first, if you don't mind. There is no need to say "Iceland", because there are no other Keflaviks in the world, and we are not American.
