I am so excited, I just purchased a trip with my dad to Norway and Finland! Flying United SEA-ORD-EWR, and Continental EWR-OSL-EWR-SEA. Also doing a OSL-HEL link on Finnair. We are going to see Oslo and Bergen, Bodo, Tromso, Helsinki, and maybe Stockholm. Have any other Americans done a trip like this? It is going to be great!

Quoting Thepilot (Reply 13): Thanks for your replies! I am definetely going on the gondolas, if I can. Also, what is there to do around Helsinki? Is there good flightspotting at OSL or HEL? Thanks again!
You still haven't addressed whether you realize where these places are in relation to each other.

Quoting Mexicana757 (Reply 20): Do a trip report and take a lot of pictures. How much was your airfare? and how much will it cost you to do this trip?
You can expect a full trip report, don't worry. As far as airfare, the SEA-ORD-EWR-OSL-EWR-SEA fare was around 800 USD, and the OSL-HEL-OSL ticket was around 220 USD. There will probably be a lot more spent to get around (ie rail pass is 200 USD), and I have heard Oslo is a very expensive city. Anyway, it should be great
