Are The Bugs Out Of ITunes 7 Yet?

When iTunes 7 first came out, I really wanted to download it immediately, but I always wait a week, just in case there is a serious problem with the software. After hearing about all the problems when iTunes 7 came out, I decided to wait.

Are the bugs out of iTunes 7 now?
By the way, i'm using Windows XP.

Apple just released (quietly, at that) version 7.0.1 of iTunes today. It is said to fix many of the performance and stability issues that 7.0.0 had.

So has it worked? I don't really know. The comments on Engadget seem to suggest a mixed bag. Some people noticed an improvement while others had the same problems as before (some even noticed new ones).


Better to be nouveau than never to have been riche at all.

I can't tell - under MacOS X I have not experienced any problems so far (the new version 7.0.1 didn't change anything visibly either).

I'm running iTunes 7.0.0.70 on my XP laptop and I am having problems. Mainly some really bad sound distortion from time to time, when I have to restart the program just to make it stop.
