Alright, let's see what you can do Big grin

Select a duration, test text, and for the purpose of this thread, let's keep the speed unit to Words Per Minute (WPM).

I'll kick off the results:

Mine was 60 WPM with 100% accuracy. At work, if I want to change job classifications I have to retake the typing test if my previous score is more than 6 months old. I did retake it recently and my score was something like 60 WPM on that one too.

Realistically speaking, that's about par for me since I had two years of typing in high school. First time around was using the old IBM Selectric typewriters. Second time around was using Macs. You learn to type very accurately if you hate using the old Correcto Type (and boy did I hate that stuff).

Hmmm, better than I thought. And I even slowed down a bit toward the end, because I thought I heard my boss coming this way.

It would be more when writing in Italian, my native language. I tend to make frequent typing mistakes in English, because there are some letters which aren't used frequently in Italian (j, k, w, x, y).

80wpm at 95% accuracy, and taking the test a second time, I was 79wpm for 98% accuracy.

Comes with having a computer since you were 7. Never learned to type properly...
