Greetings my fellow aviation enthusiasts.
As some of you may know, I am interested in not only aviation, but also in science, space, and politics. As a result of this, my mind is constantly active and I feel the need to post topics repeatedly every day. There is, however, one subject which has been troubling me of late. The question, my dear friends, is this.
Would you sleep with a robot?
Whilst recently watching an episode of ‘Start Trek: The Next Generation’ (September 1987- May 1994) I chanced upon the fact that a certain female character apparently had sexual intercourse with a robot. Now by the term ‘robot’ I mean any object under such a crude umbrella term, including cyborg, automaton, or mechanical man.
After careful consideration whilst organising my CD collection in an alphabetical fashion, I came to the conclusion that the aforementioned activity is not so off the wall as first thought. Indeed, I concluded that the womansimply usedas a posh.
So shocking was this revelation to me, that I immediately had to consult my memory to find other examples. I recalled an earlier version of the previously mentioned television drama. In one memorable episode, the Captain came across an automaton and it was quite clear that had no one been around, he would readily consider engaging in coitus with the mechanical female, in fact, it seems that she had been designed for such activity!
I consider myself to have a very ordered mind, and as soon as my brain had become involved on this subject, further examples came to my recollection. Indeed, in a certain 1973 cinematic production, characters such aspaid hard earned dollars so to ‘perform the horizontal shuffle’ with robots such as.
Unknowingly, a fellow A.Netter (he does own a 747) had sexual relations with, a cunningly deceptive replica of a real female.
Also, I am almost certain that an intimate relationship would have blossomed between and his robotic protector because the former was simply so gay. One wonders if that Robot was 'fully functional'.
So, the question remains. Would you have sex with a robot? My girlfriend seems to be preoccupied most of the time with the dumbed-down version of the second picture above, i.e the third picture… Possibly because I am preoccupied with this website. She is threatening to leave me, and take the toaster. She says that at least the toaster delivers when she presses the knob.
I am looking forward to anticipating your exceedingly valued replies.
As for myself - if I were single, I would probably have sex with a robot, if such a device existed. For sure it would be better than what you depict in your third picture ... it would be interactive!

I'd consider doing a fem-bot if there was an actual woman there to participate. Otherwise, I may as well masturbate the old-fashioned way.
Also, I think you should pay homage to Barbarella, and the scene where she is placed into the Orgasmo-Piano-Thingy by Duran Duran.

I don't remember posting in this thread before!
Anyway, no, I would not sleep with a robot. Not unless she's indistinguishable from a human being in every way, physical and spiritual, down to the very last subatomic particle.
In which case, philosophically, what's the difference?
I guess if we have kids, that would make them cybernetic beings of some sort, but if they're indistinguishable from humans, again -- what's the diff?
As long as they leave the house by the time they're 18, that is.
Listen Sherlock. Things get lost in translation obviously on the internet. Usually the *wink* smilie clarifies certain situations.
The wink and the 'Signed By' of my thread was included bacause it was a piss take thread. Mr AerospaceFan tends to post several threads a day regarding many different topics.
Fair Enough.
He has a certain style which (are well written) but could also be taken as being very serious. He also tends to thank anyone who does respond. It was meant to be a parody of that on a subject chosen at random and in my mind evolved from... RE: Who Would You Make A Sex Tape With? (by Kmh1956 Sep 26 2006 in Non Aviation)#ID1382486

If a robot could respond in the same way as a human, then why not?
Think of it, no complaining from the robot if your performance is too good or bad. Not having to give the robot breakfast in the morning. No risk of picking up any sexually transmitted diseases, even without taking precautions. Sounds good!

35 Kieron747: Cheers! Well in retrospect, I'm glad I didn't make it too authentic, considering how many people nowadays seem to miscomprehend the ol' Signed By....

46 Kieron747: Very true, it was however, Star trek First contact. Generations had Kirk and Picard in it. Couldn't agree more! Kieron747
47 Skidmarks: You're never too young for false teeth. I, however, have a full set of my own teeth, still in my mouth and in perfect working order. Mostly, sometime
