Hookem Horns. Great game.

Wish USC would have lost.

LSU beaten by the Gators.....dismal showing by the Bayou Bengals against a very formidable top 5 team.

Auburn also beaten today.....by Arkansas. Further proof of how deep and competitive the S E C is.

so now for my weekend to be perfect:
1) The Browns have to beat the Panthers
2) The Chargers have to beat the Steelers!

On a side note
The last time Kent State beat a non-MAC Div I A team was 20 years ago..

We're looking good...

Gators get through round 2 of 4 after a great defensive show. The blocked punt and the final pic in the endzone killed any chance of Jamarcus Russell pulling another crazy comeback. Now we got Auburn whose gonna be pissed after getting stomped by Arkansas. If they run the table, they better be in Tempe playing OSU come January!

6-0 for the first time since their 1996 Championship Season by the way.

Will you watch the Cleveland Browns and the Detroit Lions on Sunday? Only if coach Eric Mangini resigned after a loss.

ND still doesn't look as good as they should, they better step it up a bit, especially if they want to play in a BCS game. The atmosphere around campus has been BCS or bust (and win), they better pull through.

LET'S GO IRISH!

After being 12 for 3 weeks after 3 wins was unfair. Number 9 now, thats better, but 7 or 8 is where we belong. After we beat USC and UCLA, we will be in the top 5 easy.

My beloved BG Falcons had an expected result, a 35-7 loss to my beloved Ohio State Buckeyes.  Big grin

BG has 25 freshman. Got a lot of talent, but it's very young.

Now, OSU has one of those "trap" games against Michingan State next week. Yeah, the Spartans suck the big one, but Spartan Stadium has had some bad memories for the Buckeyes in the past.

Hell yeah. We didn't look great but we are halfway through our Murderer's Row of 4 straight games from Hell in Bama, LSU, Auburn, and Georgia. Neevermind that we still have South Carolina and Half Ass U on the schedule after those 4.

Those are the Gators you see in your rearview mirror there Falcon. Here's to a great game in Glendale's Pink Taco this January if we can both win out.

While I'm of course following I-A closely, being an Ohio State grad and loving college football, this year I've "discovered" Div III. Highly recommended!! This year I bought season tickets for Mount Union College (Ohio) games, the continual powerhouse of Div III. What a blast!!!

The stadium capacity is listed as 5529, but Saturday they had over 6800 at the game. It's a great atmosphere, lots of spirit, lots of friendliness among everyone in the stands, and great play on the field.

And, with no TV timeouts and such, the game took 2 hours 40 minutes from kickoff to final gun!

I'm glad Cal moved up, it'll just make it that much sweeter when we beat you for Homecoming this weekend. It will happen, you heard it here first. If we play the way we did against USC, we shouldn't lose another game the rest of the season.

Goooooooooooo Coooooooooooougs!!!

25 BHMNONREV : For the first time in 33 years the Missouri Tigers start the season 6-0, after taking care of the Texas Tech Red Raiders 38-21 in Lubbock on Saturday.
26 Ordryan28 : yeah, no doubt. can't wait to play USC this year- maybe this will be the year the Irish overcome the Trojans (let's not look past UCLA, of course).
27 Cory6188 : True to form, Dartmouth lost to Yale 14-26. Our football team is beyond bad - they're just pathetic.
28 Oldman55 : Oops missed that slight bit of *assistance* by the officials lol. Oh well a win is a win is a win.
