Watching children's telly this morning I decided that I really enjoyed Bear in the big blue house and I have always loved the Muppets. Just the name makes me laugh.

Bear in the big blue house

The Muppets (although everyone knows them)

So, who or what is your favourite Kid's TV character.

First Class passengers are my favourites. They can't get any further forward without an ATPL.

Legendary program. I used to get up at 6am to watch it every day  bigthumbsup

I would though advise that you don't watch it when drunk/ stoned, it makes too much sense and this spoils it then Wink

Legendary program.

I agree but it used to be on right before the evening news (17:55). Also I remember 'Bill and Ben, the flowerpot men'
I know I am officially a  grumpy   old  Git, I turned 45 a week ago.

It was also on at 05:55am if I remember correctly, and to this day it was the only thing that could get me out of bed so early!

First, Käpt'n Blaubär. I used to like watching a bit of the puppet version of Käpt'n Blaubär during the Morning Shows on state TV.

And "Due Sendung mit der Maus", which for years has always been a classic.

I really enjoyed "The Muppet Show" growing up (in fact, have season 1 now on DVD)...

Nowadays, I like SpongeBob... I just find him amusing!!

Another vote for Zippy. Rainbow is absolutely legendary. No other show could get away with being made on such an utterly low budget that they had to steal scenery from other shows, could never be arsed to edit out mistakes and be so packed full of adult innuendo. I enjoy it more now than when I was a kid!
