U.S. population set to hit 300 million..

The US is growing at an astounding rate. What do you think would be the outcome of this population boom in a few years? Do you think it will have negative effects? Or is the country ready and able to deal with it?

While this may be true, it is still daunting. Whatsmore, the effects of India's growth, i am sure is what the US would want to avoid.

Well you can also say the samething about China. Both these countries a growing at a rapid rate and they can't seem to get enough of it

I wasn't sure of the exact situation in China, that is why refrained from commenting. But then if such is the case, yes they both have serious problems. Reverting to the topic at hand, the US... What are your comments on that?
