When will these cretinous idiots actually stop and think about their actions?
So they go and release all the mink because they are environmental campaigners, who have to protect the rights and best interests of these animals. Great, so did they realise that these mink have no idea HOW to survive outside of captivity, so they will starve to death within a few weeks, as the article says. Plus as they are bred in sterile conditions they will have virtually no immunity to anything in the big wide world. Even if they were all to survive, the knock on impact of having 15,000 mink running around the countryside is going to be huge, goodbye most bird life and small rodents as a result.
I'm all for animal rights, but the activists that commit stupid and pointless crimes like these need to think about what they are really doing to the animals and the environment!

We've had the same in the UK though they do survive. Unfortunately they wreak havoc with the local environment and have been responsible for almost wiping out the water vole.
