Again , no prob with Canada Customs, they won't give a rat's ##s. U.S. Customs, upon return, may be a different story, check your local customs office, they should be able to tell you.

Actually the US is more concerned with security than customs. Most of my friends and I have had more trouble with Canadian customs, even when we had not bought anything. Canadian customs is always a hassle, guilty till proven innocent!

AIRLINERS.NET CREW CUSTOMER SERVICE & SUPPORT
When I drove across in 2002, with my then girlfriend, they were more interested in how I could have a Norwegian passport, travel with a US citizen, driving a car registered to her mother We got through though, but only after pulling over and going inside to get our passports stamped for a total of 3 days. Coming back into the US, they asked how long we had been in Canada and if we were bringing back any alcohol or food. Answered one night and no, and he told us to have a good day. This was the I-29 crossing north of Grand Forks.

Shouldn't be a problem. I crossed the border on I-15 from Canada into Montana driving my parents car when they weren't with me in September with no problems whatsoever. He was more concerned if I had been hunting and was bringing any animal products into the US that I aquired in Canada.

Two rules in aviation, don't hit anything and don't run out of gas, cause if you run out of gas yer gonna hit something.

Quoting Mt99 (Thread starter): Has anyone driven someone elses car accross the US-Canada border? My aunt would be driving my car and i will not be with her.
It isn't a problem. They might ask you if it is your car, but even if it isn't, you can just explain who it belongs to.

You may want to have a notorized letter from the owner of the car that you have their permission to drive it in Canada and will return to the USA with it.
