First of all why would you buy one?? I'msure Amazon US will stock it. Anyway you either buy a multi-region player or hack your existing one using a site like DVD365.net

I went ahead and bought a second DVD player just for my Euro DVD's.

Wasn't that great of an expense and has worked out well.

It's a Sampo DVD player, that I bought on-line.

It was wired 110 for the US, but made for Euro Region DVD's.

I got it a loooong time ago, so I not sure from which site I got it from....sorry.

Google your DVD player's make and model to see if it's hackable. I did that for mine and found a 'cheat code" (for want of a better word) that I could key in to the remote to make it a multiregion DVD player. Now my $99 DVD player will play DVDs from anywhere in the world in both PAL and NTSC format. Many 'multi region, multi codec' DVD players for sale cost double that.

That's another issue to be aware of in addition to region encoding, by the way. Make sure your DVD player (and TV for that matter) will cope with both PAL and NTSC formats. Most modern, newish equipment will.

I second IFEMaster. Google it, or Ebay it. Some people sell the codes (if you can't find it for free)

Otherwise, DVD-X or DVD43 works great on the computer.

911, where is your emergency?
