Out of the following, which luxury car is your favorite?

Lexus: LS
BMW: 7 series
Mercedes-Benz: S-class

I personally like the S-class. Sleek, hides all its features nicely when not needed, and great suspension system. Price is the only thing that bothers me on it  Wink.

Audi A8.

I am driving my father's A8 4,2 liter frequently (almost daily) and it is the best car I have ever driven! So much power, so comfortable, so many amenity features... awesome! I can fully understand why my father became a big Audi fan!

Definatley the S-Class, the classiest of the three. Would die to own one of the new ones, those things look amazing both from the outside and the inside.

Mercedes S-Class

But for ultimate passenger comfort: Mercedes Maybach.. doesn't get better than that as a passenger. Period.

And Like Sabena332, I understand why my dad became a huge Mercedes-Benz fan after having owned both an E, and an S-class
That car is also the best car that I have ever driven. Lots of style, lots of power, and I just love the look and size of that car

Favorite by what means? If it is performance, I would take either a BMW M5 or a Mercedes E63 AMG. There is nothing like having a 4000 lb sedan running 12's on the quarter mile. For luxury, I would say a Lexus LS460. Although Lexus lacks quite a bit on the performance side, their quality can't be beat. If it was best bang for the buck, it would be a toss up between an Infiniti M45 and Chrysler 300C SRT-8.

That's a standard Maybach 62, not the Exelero.

THAT is an Exelero.

For the best luxury car, my vote would go for either the Maserati Quattroporte or the Bentley Continental Flying Spur.

Both my father and me made terrible experience with Mercedes Benz. I used to have an SLK (when I didn't have a rental car because my SLK was in the shop), and my father used to have an E-Class in his company car fleet (to pick people up from the airport/train station, etc.), guess what, the E-Class was as often in the shop as my SLK. Mercedes has become the last shit, I would rather buy a KIA (no joke!!!).

Out of your list of three, I'd have to pick the Lexus purely because of the sound system. That Mark Levinson setup has no rivals!  Smile

Overall though, I'm kind of partial to the new Volvo S80. It looks great, it's understated, it's safe, and the Dolby pro logic stereo is among the best in any car.

I would have to say in all honesty that out of the three listed I wouldn't want any of them.

I had a 2006 Audi A6 4.2 Quattro. I kept the car exactly 6 months. It was the biggest piece of crap I ever owned. The Sunroof broke and got stuck open, Car was in the shop for 3 days. A/C quit working twice, The dealer had the car 2 days the first time and 4 days the second. Driver's side window got stuck down, but at least they fixed that right away. CD player quit working, had to be replaced, another 2 days at the dealer. Then the car started running rough and a sensor had to be replaced, another two days.

I traded it in and bought a Dodge Charger SRT8. I have had a smile on my face since I got it. Awesome car and no problems so far.

I really dont like any of them. I guess if I had to pick one it would be the Sclass.
But if I could have any luxury car it would be Audi A8L W12! Or a W12 VW Phaeton! Both are just about the same car except for the badges.

Well, sorry, I should have included the Audi A8 and the Volkswagen Phaeton W12. The definition of a luxury car is different from person to person. Some people classify a Cadillac as luxury, but I personally don't.

So, I guess out of the following choices:
Lexus: LS
BMW: 7 series
Mercedes-Benz: S-class
Audi: A8
Volkswagen: W12 Phaeton
Jaguar: XJ

(The point is to look besides Bently and Maybach and ect. because those cars are simply not viable to purchase by any normal person)

Stats:
2 - Lexus: LS
1 - BMW: 7 series
5 - Mercedes-Benz: S-class
2 - Audi: A8
1 - Volkswagen: W12 Phaeton
1 - Jaguar: XJ
