A friend of mine is heading-off to Buenos Aires, Montevideo and Santiago this weekend and I told him I'd try and suss-out good bars, clubs and saunas in these three cities for him. He has some information already, but he's not sure how up-to-date it is.
So can any a.netters in these cities give me the names and addresses of popular hot-spots?

Are you serious Justin? He is not calling South America gay, he is asking for information on gay venues in South America.
I found the following links on the net which seem pretty solid. Tell your friend to visit Punta Del Este in Uruguay too. I heard its a great city and very gay friendly too. I usually do all my search on the internet. Put all of them on a word doc and print them out before I travel. And once I get there, I ask people about the places. He would find many publications in gay bars and clubs too which would also help (esp if he speaks Spanish in this case )
