Just found this hideous beach towel for sale on LH's webshop.

http://www.worldshop.eu/products/pro...08474395181218&bmUID=1161548093609

Would you really be seen on a beach with that !!!.

Of all the beach towel designs why would one wish to purchase one that looks like an airline ticket !!!

That would score you zero street cred points with the ladies.

"It makes you stand out as a frequent flyer" - No it makes you look like a tw@t !!.

They do actually have some very nice things on the website. I was very tempted by the MD-11 Cargo 1:200 scale model.

Now that LA coroner one is cool.

I think it's cool - I want one ! Now that paper tickets are a thing of the past, an ATB beach towel would be very retro.

Amex used to sell a beachtowel that looked like a gold Amex card - but they didn't do a platinum one, so I never bought one.

Better still - I just ordered one - wooohoo - 9000 miles, bargain. I'm getting double that for my trip to TLV on Tuesday.

It's one of those things that you think will be great but when it comes through the post and you open it you think "wait I'm going to look really stupid with this!" Then you try and sell it on ebay hoping someone else will be as stupid as you and buy it.

To be honest, those flight ticket towels look pretty cool when you see them. Not the sort of thing you take onto the beach, but secretly loved within the privacy of your own home!

Nah - it won't look stupid, why would it ? And if worst comes to worst, you can always use it to catch an earlier flight home - depends what restrictions are printed on it, and whether its a full-fare ticket. There's a thought - I hope it's a First Class ticket !

I have two of these towels. No, I didn't buy it, my ex-girlfriend got them for free. And yes, I also think that they are cool! Big grin

Maybe they do a reval-sticker hand-towel, which I can use to upgrade it to F

When I go to the beach I don't give a sh!t about what my beach towel looks like. Last time I was at the beach I borrowed one of my girlfriends pink beach towels. Who cares, or maybe it's just me. But I wouldn't buy that simply because it seems a waste of money to me, I'd rather spend the extra cash on some beers at the beach.

I was lucky when my girly came home with these towels, I don't give a damn what is written/printed on my towels. Mostly I use them anyway to dry me up after having a shower!

Valuing your miles at .02 cpm, you just spend 180 USD on that towel. Given that 24 euros is about 30 USD, you got hosed
