But seriously I am sure you do, but I just never thought clowns could represent Ramadan, but then again I guess I have much to learn about Islam.

Wassup Windshear!!

Eid Al Fitr was an amazing celebration or festival when I was much younger. It was very family oriented. We used to buy new clothes, called the Eid Clothes. We used to get alloooottt of money...hehehehehe... 3idiyah!! Eid money... well it wasn't much but for us a heck of a lot of money since we were quite young... the streets would be decorated and every body would be in a festive atmosphere... it was amazing...

sadly it's not much the case now cause the world is more into capitalism and people tend to work than celebrate and others use the Eid to make money out of it... but hey.... we are fast lives... this is what's happening almost everywhere.... It doesn't feel like before!! Eid is not as important as it was!

Oh well... Happy Eid in any case!!!

Boaz,
Jakarta is nice during Eid... A HELLUVALOADAPEOPLE gone out of town back to their family hometowns/villages... It's nice to be able to go from a to b in 15 mins during daytime when otherwise it would take >1hr! LOL

But One dreaded thing about Eid in Jakarta is...

THE DAMN FIREWORKS! They're everywhere... it's like a free for all! Been having 5 mins an hour since dusk today... and it'll continue until daylight (or the police grab them, or they've run out of firecrackers and flares). Note: no firing AK-47s into the air here! LOL

How can I sleep to wake up for Eid prayers tomorrow morning!

I wanna binge over the next few days, not sleep!

LOL

Wow sounds like a great great time, saw today from a big big place called "Valby hallen" here in Copenhagen, many many young Muslims celebrating, one kid said that he ate so much candy that he felt like throwing up  Silly

Wow nice really nice, it is good to celebrate in in tune with a whole country and a whole creed, really nice.

By the way my Pakistani friend said that I have to come in 60 days, and I look forward to it, very much  Smile

Take care and enjoy the celebration!
