I just came back home from a work related 3-month stay in Pretoria. What a great country for an aviation enthusiast! Perfect weather most of the time, plenty of vintage metal flying around... Last chance to fly on a DC9-10...
I'm going back South Africa from February - April 2007. Would anybody like to join in for a A.net meet at JNB during that time? We could go spotting or just have lunch together, or even try to arrange a flight together. (Everybody seems to be a pilot in this country!)
Has there been a JNB meet before? How was it, what did you do? How many people were there?
All the things you probably hate about travelling are warm reminders that I'm home

Good to hear from you again, you took a long break from A.net, but I'm sure it did you good
It would depend on the flight prices at that time of year, but I could be up for it if I have some money spare. At the end of January I'm planning a trip to Cuba, so likewise your welcome on that one, as is anyone if they wanted to come with me. Hope you enjoyed your time in South Africa,
