Hello all!
I was wondering if there are any A.netters that go to the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Last week I took a campus tour and I absolutely loved it. They offer everything that I'm looking for and reciprocity with Minnesota makes it more affordable. I applied about a month ago, so I should be hearing back from them very soon. Just thought I would throw it out there to see if I might be meeting anyone next year.

I lived in Madison during 6th grade (Around East Towne Mall/Sun Prairie) and I cant say I like the commie town much. Wisconsin Police and Germans everywhere make this one bad place for me. (albeit not as bad as Central Wisconsin where I spent the 3 worst years of my life).
However I have several friends that go to UW and Ive been there maybe 5-6x to party since its a relatively short drive from the NW Chicago Suburbs. I hear they have a good biology and medicine program (Infact my mom did her specialization at the UW Hospital thats why we lived there.)
Yea but obviously everyones preferences are different so I say go there and try it out if you love it so much.

Excellent! I am a sophomore here, and it is a great place. Reciprocity is a great deal, especially this day in age. Madison is also a great place in general, a very cool city.

I'm actually interested in their business program, particularly international business. UW-Madison offers around 60 languages and a very good study abroad program. But thanks for your input!

Awesome! Glad to see I won't be the only A.net nut on campus.

It may be Moscow on Lake Medota, but it is still a very nice town. Pretty much something for everyone in terms of recreation, fairly clean and mostly safe. Good selection of restaurants and theaters. Expensive to live in though. That is the only down side in my mind.
