We sucked....we lost to Detroit for God's sake.
Took the game for granted and Detroit showed up to play.
Receivers decided to stop catching balls somewhere in the middle of the 2d quarter and lately our defense can't stop a tricycle driven by a 3 year old.

The Saints won, and advance to 6-2. With Atlanta's loss to Detroit, we are now in sole first place in the NFC South.
Go Saints!!!

Jaguars win over Tennessee 37-7.
Turned on the Steelers-Broncos game in time to see Hines Ward cough up the ball on the way into the end zone. Steelers are now 2-6 - how the mighty have fallen.

Quoting Halls120 (Reply 7): Must have been one hell of a boring game.
Probably the most shocking thing this week besides CHI's loss to MIA is the fact the 49ers still have a legitimate chance to win the division. The NFC west blows something awful right now.

The Browns practically had the game handed to them via Chargers penalties, yet they managed to lose the game in the last eight minutes.

To second Dalb's comments, the Saints continue to roll, beating the Bucs 31-17. The Drew Brees signing continues to reap dividends, and the 7th round drafting of Marques Colston is easily the steal of the draft.
Btw, are all of you eagerly anticipating that killer Monday night matchup of Oakland and Seattle

Watched the Cowboys-Redskins game... best finish I've seen in awhile....
last 31 seconds... a missed field goal, a blocked field goal, a personal foul face-masking penalty after blocked fg, then a winning 47-yard fg with :00 left... it was awesome!!

Halls120: you know ESPN brought it on themselves.....that's what they get for putting Kornheiser on Monday nights...
Btw, no way that face-mask at the end of the Cowboys-Skins game was a 15-yarder. The Skins got that game gift-wrapped them, thanks to T.O. and the refs...

I agree 100%... it should have been a 5 yard penalty, and thats it...

I disagree, Redngold. LT ran for 175 yards, 140 of them and 3 TD's in the second half. That's what beat them. Plus the fact the Browns offensive line still is a sieve, and Charlie Frye is still running for his life.
It's amazing, they had 6 field goals, and only TWICE in those 6 trips, did they even TRY to throw the ball in the end zone for a touchdown. Of course, they had a big TD called back for holding.
Ian, we're gonna watch two pissed off football teams next Sunday in the Dome. Your advantage is the Falcons are at home. Cya Saturday, dude.

Giants played the Texans this week. They (the Giants) didn't play well but still won 14-10. Next week the Giants better bring their A game if they want to win. (they are playing the Bears at home next week)

Oh, did someone happen to have the score of that Colts game? Haha.
Anyway, the loss to Miami might shut up all the hype about Chicago for a week at least.

IND @NEP 27-20
Brady 4 int, I thought Patriots would go all way down and tie the game after IND missed FG, but after a great pass from shotgun, Brady hurried with no huddle offence made his 4th INT for the night, the receiver of the pass(Marooney?) drooped the pass in to the hand of a diving IND LB.
So to respond to the topic tittle, my team loosed!

That was an ugly win but I'll take it over a loss anytime. Had fun watching Dallas lose like that (gotta love the DirecTV NFL package). Totally agree with you about next week against Chicago. The Gmen better be ready or it could get ugly.
BTW, am really enjoying Sunday night football on NBC--this new flex schedule is a great innovation. Indy beat the Pats in a tight game and it was interesting to see Vinatieri miss a field goal at Foxboro as a Colt.
Note: Edited for spelling.

I somewhat agree with you. I don't think the game was handed to the Browns, they simple did not take advantage of SD penalties. Plain and simple!

Agreed.. that's the big reason they lost.. with that said, i don't think Frye is gonna be able to take more hits! I think he's had enough..... the OL needs to step up their game (i.e. protection)
Well, regardless of the losses.. i still say... GO BROWNS!

Huge win by my two teams, the Colts and the Saints.
I think it's pretty safe to say that Peyton Manning is the clear choice for AFC MVP at this point (17td, 3 int, 2291 yds) and Drew Brees (14td, 7int, 2206 yds) is once again proving why he was a great pick by the Siants....the guy is juist consistent, consistent, consistent.
Anyway...Colts 8-0, Saints 6-2. Just about perfect in my book so far.
