Does anyone here have service with Verizon along with V-cast? I just upgraded to an LG VX-8300 and I must say that after paying $10 a month, on top of $2.00 per song downloaded, I must say that it's a rip off. (Not to mention that I have to purchase a new memory card to have more than 5 songs on my phone.)

I can do w/o the videos, however, the music, I must have.

Cheers,
Jeremy Carlisle

First, Welcome to a.net.

That being said, v-cast is a rip off. IIRC You can just put WMA files onto your phone via USB if your phone spports it. And yes, 10 a month plus two bucks a song is shite. Now if only iTunes went mobile  goodvibes

Get a phone that supports MP3 playback and bluetooth, then you can just load any of your MP3s from iTunes to your phone. Chances are, these phones will also have more memory.

Verizon has good coverage, but you're better off with Cingular (or another GSM provider) if you want these more modern features. I just moved to Europe, and everyone over here's using GSM phones.

I have a Motorola SLVR w/iTunes... it's awesome! I have the initial model and it can only hold 100 songs though... but I'm sure that will change shortly with next gen models.
