OK, I never even thought for a minute that he was, but a colleague just said she has known that he is since she was a kid and she's about 60 years old.
Also four of my colleagues in the office also never knew this. There's nothing on wikipedia or his personal website, so is it true??

You mean his personal website doesn't state his sexuality?

That's been an open secret for decades.
When I was working in radio, I worked at a station that produced the Syd Mark show. He was a personal friend of Frank Sinatra. He told me Frank nicknamed Johnny Mathis "The African Queen" in the early sixties.

Quoting AsstChiefMark (Reply 5): BTW, I would have loved to hear Aaron Neville and Katharine Hepburn sing a duet. The vibrato could have been used as a WMD.
And perhaps it would have knocked that berry off of his face.

Another classic politically incorrect statement attributed to Frank. When Frank, Dean, and Sammy would do shows, they'd sprinkle in a few "gay" jokes and comments. Dean would sometimes lisp while singing songs, and one joke Frank and Dean did during some of the infamous Rat Pack Summits At The Sands went like this:
Frank and Dean are standing around the "snack bar" Frank wheeled out onstage. They are "making a snack" when Frank asks Dean about his bartending skills.
Frank: Say, speaking of bars and all this kind of stuff, let me ask you a question. How do you make a fruit cordial? Dean gives him a puzzled look while the audience laughs.
Frank: I asked you a question.
Dean: Be nice to them I guess.....

Maybe you missed my subtle implication. I'll make it a bit more obvious.
Most sensible people don't care about a person's sexuality. Perhaps this is difficult for you to understand, but generally a person's sexuality is a non-issue. You could have started a thread about the colour of a celebrity's eyes - the answer is mundane and something most people couldn't care less about. The fact you seem interested the sexuality of someone you don't even know is a bit sad.

I guess no one listens to his music. Excuse me...I'm getting misty.
