looking for a software which is regularly updated and if possible can be used on more than one PC.

Do you have any suggestions.

I use Ad-Aware SE Personal Edition, and Spybot - Search & Destroy, both of which are free of charge and I would definitely recommend.

I use Ad-Aware, ZoneAlarm, and AVG. All seem to work well.
