i'm not from Japan but i'm using this flag because at the time i signed up to a.net, i was crazy over some Japanese chick.

i know 9V is not really from the Bahamas but he/she is using the Bahamas flag.

who else here is using a fake flag? own up!

I'm using Andorra's flag because my nation's flag (Catalonia) is not on the list and I feel much more identified with this country than with Spain. This flag is fine for me but I think it's quite unfair that UK's four nations are listed separately on the flag list while other communities' flags like Catalonia, the Basque Coutry and Galicia (from Spain) or Québec from Canada are not available.

Some might use the flag of where they were born, have ancestry from, or just like that country. Some may use the flag of the country that use the flag of (like a UK citizen using a Bermuda flag as works there).
Then you have political reasons. For a while earlier this year, some took the flags of Lebanon in support of the Country, but not of Hezbolah in Lebanon, due the war by Israel in Lebanon, that destroyed major places, including Beruit Airport during that war.
