As a resident stupid Indian, my answer is:
Nope. Not racist. They (we) are pretty stupid.
Quoting Shinkai (Reply 2): not at all! i call my african-american friend stupid n***** all the time and he doesn't mind it! it depends on the context, i suppose.
And since we can't figure out your race (or rather, since you've misrepresented it), we'll just call you Stupid.
"Two and a Half Men" was filmed in front of a live ostrich.

Not racist for me in this context. However, Australian cricketers have had lots of problems with racism in South Asia. Do a search on BBC for a plethora of incidents in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, etc.

Hmm I think it would have to do with the context in which 'Indian' was used. Was he refering to the guy being from India, or the guy being of the Indian race. For instance..
Stupid N***** - sounds racist as it is probably said with contempt
Stupid American - not racist as the nationality is being targeted here.
Stupid Indian (race) - racist as it is also probably said with contempt.
Stupid Indian (nationality) - not racist.
Sounds like I confusing myself, I will stop here..
P.S. any of the above said between friends and understood that it is not to be taken seriously doesn't count. Between people who don't "go down" like that, is another ball game.

here in a.net, it doesn't matter what your race is! everyone is equal. we are all brought together by a similar interest, that is aviation, and that is what matters. i have a dream! that all black people, and all white people, and even all scottish people, can commute on a.net without being judged according to the race!

People call me "dumb Canadian" all the time, behind my back, but I hear them. Who's dumb? I don't GARA anyway, but would that be, nationalist, as in discriminating against a nation, as racist would be discriminating against a race?
P.S. Being quiet and polite is construed as "being dumb" in some places.
