First and foremost, I hope McCoy's ok. That looked bad, and from the way he looked all day, you could argue he shouldn't have even played today to begin with. And, Kelvin Heard should get suspended for at least the bowl game and maybe more for that cheap shot with 1:22 left. Both of those incidents put a damper on what was otherwise a banner day for A&M. Franchione finally has that signature win he's been needing.
And for the first time in 7 years, I'm all smiles on T+1.

Looks like its going to be a flashback to the 80's Nebraska and Oklahoma for the title (assuming OU takes care of business tomorrow) and probably a trip to the Fiesta Bowl.

You know, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the Land Thieves lay an egg against Okie Lite and sent you guys to the Big XII championship game. That game is in Stillwater, and Okie Lite has got a good team.

I had to go completely against that grain and make a new one today.

Ahh yes... I went to the game as a UT fan. And both those hits on Colt were sick. There was some of the loudest booing I've ever heard at DKR today. Interference call in the endzone on Limas (some louuud bullsh*t chants), a facemask on Limas after the play that wasn't called, and the hits on Colt.
However, I agree that Colt was still messed up from K State. I'm actually kinda hoping we don't go to the Big XII championship... I doubt Colt will be back, and even if he is, Nebraska would wreck-up on the Horns.
COMEBACK VINCE!!! You still have one year of eligibility left!

At 1300, I was in Johnson City, TX (45 mins west of AUS) practically giddy at the prospect of an Aggie win. Then the wife mentioned we'd be hitting AUS about the end of the game while en route back to EYQ. Feck! Pack the bags! Load the dogs! We got through town just as the clock ran out.
Not a blowout (at least, not like K State ), but a W is a W. Ah, to belly up to the Shiner tap at the Chicken tonight....

I was in College Station watching the game on TV. My grandma has 2 season Aggie Tickets (Home and Away) and took my cousin to the game. I am so glad that the Aggies were finally able to put away the Longhorns!!!
Quoting Chugach (Thread starter): Kelvin Heard should get suspended for at least the bowl game and maybe more for that cheap shot
As an Aggie fan I agree fully with you. He should be suspended for a long time. He is a disgrace to the Aggie team. REAL Aggies wouldn't do what he did...
Uh... the first hit by Heard I'll agree was uncalled for, but the the one that put Colt down with 20 seconds to go was entirely legal. Although it is unfortunate that Colt was injured he was still banged up from the K State game. Colt is a very tough football player. I hope he gets better soon.

Are you sure? Does Vince have an agent? I thought the rules were that once a player signs an agent, than he can't go back to his college team...

Every day is a great day to be an Aggie, but Friday was especially sweet.

I was there, too, and was saddened by player behavior which, in my humble opinion, is unworthy of the Aggie traditions of character and honor.
And no, I am not joking. I've always been treated well when I visited Kyle Field for the odd-numbered-year games. And, while I am a UT fan all the way, I have always appreciated A&M's strong links to its roots.
Those hits (and the attempted head-removal on Swede) were very poor sportsmanship.
But (bottom-line), Ags won the game.

What a great day it was yesterday. I went down to Austin with a couple of friends. Since we didnt get tickets anymore we decided to tailgate and see the game on tv. That game was worth getting up so early and every cent I spent in Austin (and last but not least all the brain cells I lost). Below two photos I shot. One shows the streets on campus before the game, the other shows me waving the Aggie flag after the victory:
