NFL Week Of Nov 26th: How'd Your Team Do?

Since I can't seemingly figure out what week it is in the league  Big grin I'll just put the date down.

Browns shut out 30-0. Frye intercepted 4 times (one on a hail mary at the end of the half); sacked 4 times; Braylon Edwards and Frye get in a shouting match during the game on the sidelines. Romeo Crennel wil not make it to opening week 2007.

How'd your team do?

And I figured DL021 wasn't in the mood to start this thread this week. I don't blame him.

The Giants are not just going downhill, but they are falling off a cliff!! Up 21-0 in the 4th quarter they losse to the Titans 24-21.

Three plays that cost the Giants the game.

I forget when it happened but Manning was intercepted and instead of tackling the ball carrier WR Burress tried to push the guy out of bounds, he didn't and just gave up on the play.

Late in the 4th quarter DE Mathias Kiwanuka had Vince Young sacked for a 10 yard loss but just let him go, and Vince got the first down.

Last 2 minutes in the games the Giants are driving the ball down the field Manning throws a interception.

Yeah, we will. Very Good game [to watch], not so good if you are the OC.

I like Dallas (not nearly as much as New England), but Dallas is a strong second in my book. I like teams that take out Drew Bledsoe and put in a young guy to go and win 3 Super Bowls out of 4 (Not that the Cowboys would beat my Pats or anything).

Looks like both teams will be advancing to the Post Season. My projection is the NFC division game is between the Cowboys and Bears, and the AFC is between the Pats and Colts.

Looks like San Diego got the win over Oakland, no surprise there... LT rushes for 109 yards and 2 TDs, plus throws a TD... Rivers didn't do too well today, only 14-for-31 for 133 yards with an INT... but hopefully next week against Buffalo he'll regroup and do better.

Plus the defense should improve again with Merriman coming back... He really did make a difference by himself, and even though we've won the 4 games he was out, we gave up more points and allowed more pass yards when he was gone...

Don't worry about Ian there, Falcon.....I'm sure he and the Falcons will eventually recover from their second beatdown of the year at the hands of the Saints.....who, by the way, are back in sole possession of the NFC South.

And by the way Michael Vick, nice way to treat the fans.....I'm sure the NFL will be lobbing you a call within a day or so.

Now you know what that feels like, G fans...except you got it worse than we did from a supposedly far inferior team  Smile

As for my beloved and sadly McNabb-less Eagles...defense looked like absolute crap on the first drive and they let the Colts roll all over us for an easy start...offense is doing better than expected on our first drive with Garcia at the helm...however, I am of the "start Feeley" belief so my hopes arent too high...

No matter how much jeering the QB receives from the fans, he shouldn't flick them off. That's a no class move. Vick needs to realize that he's in the big leagues now and that more people are watching him than just the ones in the Georgia Dome. He has a LONG way to go until he's considered a top tier QB like Manning, Brees, and Brady in my book.

Oh well, my Saints looked real good today, and Peyton is looking good so far against the Eagles, so i'm a happy man today.

By the way, anybody notice that the Sunday night games are so much better than the Monday night games this year???

Definitely... A lot of intense Sunday nighters, while almost no interesting Monday nighters (but there have been some for sure)...

Football games always seem more... important or significant or something when they're at night, don't you think?

And iwith 10:13 left in 4th quarter, the Eagles are back in this one...31-21, an entirely overcomable deficit...great pick by Lito Sheppard just ripping the ball out of Marvin Harrison to spark the comeback attempt...another one of those would be huge!

Agreed. But when your receivers are dropping wide-open passes-one that could have set up a game-tying touchdown, I'd be a little pissed, too.
