Who is available and wants to get together?

SmithAir is already in.

No, but the blow up dolls were the source of much consternation....it seems they want the lubricant accessories to be packed in separate ziploc bags....

Just got off the phone, Cornish is at work but you're quite welcome to go pay him a visit in Stains, down by the reservoirs. He only charges £10 an hour so Plymspotter tells me.

I say take a flight to DUB. Much cooler people there you know.

OK...headed out for dinner with the wife and we're late because we just spent the last two hours with SmithAir and Kieron who are both very nice guys and exceptionally interesting to talk with.

I enjoy these little get togethers and meeting new people, especially when they are as generally nice and interesting as the anetters I've so far met.

Ok...I just got back from dinner and realized that in my rush to make it to dinner on time for the reservations we did not take any group photos!

Damnit! Sorry about that. We'll do better next time.

Damn missed this thread yesterday.

Would have been up for coming to London if I didn't have a ton of uni assignments due next week.

Hope you all had fun despite the lousy weather.

Did Kieron mention how he hates "rhaa"?

I met with DL021 (and Mrs. DL021, his long-suffering wife) and Kieron tonight; it was especially great meeting DL021 for the first time tonight (and he always wanted to meet me). DL021 finally met the mysterious creature called SmithAir747 tonight!

We met in the hotel bar and had a great, interesting talk--while I guzzled glass after glass after glass of nice, cold, caustic grapefruit juice, the one drink I just can't resist! We got to know each other a lot more in person than online. I showed DL021 and the Mrs. my Craniofacial Development research programme handbook from Guy's Hospital and explained a little of what I'm doing (including my infamous "mouse probing"). We just had good fellowship tonight.

I genuinely enjoyed meeting DL021 and his other half tonight--and look forward to seeing them again someday!

Jer is stuck in Cork (no pun intended). I'm still trying to get him to fly over to the UK but he's deep in some pointless thesis.

We definately need to meet up next time your in London.

Next time i'm in Paris for any length of time will probably be the airshow. Would be great to have a get-together like last time there.

It's a fascinating bit of work he's doing. It's way over my head, but thankfully for the rest of us people like Francis and Kieron understand scientific mumbo-jumbo and help make life better for the rest of us.

Not so much curious as frankly horrified ! But I had my chance and I blew it, I was supposed to meet Ian and his wife last weekend, but I was up to my eyes in the RFP from hell and couldn't make it. My loss, and no it WASN'T worth it, although the RFP presentation did go well when it happened finally.

Next time, I hope.
