So it appears (c'est une poire) I was out having a few drinks with some friends tonight.
This girl approached me and we basically spoke for about 20 minutes. Yet the only thing I could think of was
"jeez she looks so familiar. Where have I seen her before?"
She was hot and quite my type, yet I still can't figure it out.

Ha it appears I now remember.
Had met her at a party of a friends. She was trying to get all of us to come to her party down the road. But her party ended up being full of 40 year old geezers.

Quoting Bill142 (Reply 4): There's a movie coming out called deja vu. You should go see it.
Except deja vu is the act of forecasting or believing as you witness something that you have already seen it.
Seeing someone once and meeting her two months later again isn't a deja vu. It is a deja recontre.

Happened a little while ago at Wally World. Someone looked familiar, and they looked at me like I looked familiar. I couldn't be bothered to find out who he was though.

I noticed a girl once, and thought "I've seen that face before somewhere"...
After a while we started talking, and it was clear she knew who I was. It wasn't long before the content of the conversation gave me enough clues to recognise who she was. Turned out to be a former classmate.
I just managed to not burst out "NOW I know who you are!" That probably wouldn't have looked good...

All the time, I was sitting in a class in Grade 9 and talking to this guy sitting beside me, I thought he was an alright guy, asked him where he went to school the year before in Grade 8. He told me that he was in the class that shared a room with mine (split down the middle with a divider), very embarrassing.
