I'm going to be in Minneapolis from December 12-15 (next week), and am rather happy to hear about the prospect of snow. Do you have any idea what it's like to put up your Christmas lights in 70 degree sunshine? It'd be fine if I lived in Florida, but this was New Jersey!

Bring on the seasonal weather!  Smile

It's 63 degrees F in Iowa City now! It will be a beautiful night that I will get to enjoy since I'm working outside tonight.

Hopefully it will snow for Christmas though. The 16 day forcast calls for our highs to plummet below freezing.

Fine then, rub it in... Current temperature in Crookston, MN 25 degrees farenheit, "feels like 18". I'd trade any of you guys any day. And there is already snow on the ground in MSP. That was the reason my 45 minute layover turned into 4 hours!!! (some pretty scary landings as well)

We were supposed to get snow in December but it never happened yet though. The years before we had a lot of snow(I liked it when it snowed, I got paid a lot of money to shovel and get ice off stuff) and it was fun. Now what will happen?

No fair, 61 in Michigan, 63 in Iowa City and 70 in New Jersey? The high at my house today was 49. I had snow this morning. And I live in southern Arizona. Would any of you care to trade?

I am just waiting for the proverbial "other shoe to fall" here in Cleveland. All of this warm weather in December.... We're in for a (icy) hell of a February... Yes, I mean February, because that's the coldest month of the year here in Cleveland.

Yeah, the roads (and sidewalks) still suck. It takes me twice as long to walk accross campus to make sure I don't slip. Cause yesterday everything melted and then froze again...

IMissPiedmont, I would be happy to trade climates with you. Could you send me your cold and snow as an attachment? I'll do likewise with our humidity and sun...

You want me to scrape the ice off my truck, bottle up some of this nice balmy 25 degree weather, and send it to you. I wish it were that simple.

What I hate about the weather here these days is that every time I plan to go to Malta (Thu and Fri usually) there's a blooming majjistral (NW wind) and this endangers the ferry schedule. I got stuck there with my mum a few weeks ago so I don't want that to happen again.
We have the ships, now we need a harbour!

Of course, today, Wednesday, the ONLY half day of the week at school, THE ONLY good time I have for skating with my friends, it rains....

I don't mind the cold, I JUST HATE RAIN!!!!

And what annoys me most about going to Malta is that when I get there to the lesson, the girl I love can't make it. At least that's what happened the last two weeks... I hope she comes tomorrow.
But I'm in love with the new ferries, Ta' Pinu and Gaudos (third one to be delivered next year). They symbolize strength, power and resistance to the weather for me!  Love

You guys are complaining about 28 degree weather.....

Shoot it was -10 at my house day before yesterday!

I never could understand why they banned studded tires in North Dakota. I had to walk just about everywhere when I lived down there and the intersections where all filled with automobile shapnel.

You know. The small bits of plastic that break off in a fender bender.

Dragogoalie...

Did you get hit with bad weather today? GFK didn't get it as bad as they said it would. It looked like Thief River and Devils Lake both got some though!

Weee!! The wind is not blowing strong today and I'm going to Malta... so I probably won't be having any inconveniences... Phew...
And I hope I'll see my blonde beauty after a long time (well two weeks but it's long for me anyway).

We had freezing rain all day, then about 6:45 (convienently when i was planning on going to get some coffee from the school store) it began snowing harder than I've ever seen in my life. That plus a 24 mile an hour wind really really made that an unpleasant walk. I couldent feel the left side of my face on the way there and then the right side on the way back. I guess you could say I was walking in a direct crosswind  Laugh out loud My roomate says there's about 8 inches out there now, there was only about 4 when I was last outside...
