Well we were issued our Firearms. For those who want to know it is a Glock 22. Anyway we got to shoot today after we assembled the duty belt.

The bad Canadian comes in because i really liked the shooting. It was really satisfying and fun. I am supposed to be Anti-gun (good Canadian).

On the upside in the firearm threads you can now have a chick participating.  wink

After Christmas I get to be tasered and I will share if it makes me shit my pants.

Sometimes all you can do is look them in the eye and ask " how much did your mom drink when she was pregnant with you?"

Have you been pepper sprayed yet? If not, when you're showering...don't let any of that water run down your ass, it will be a long day believe me.

For a chick, they also gotta watch out for water running down the front side as well.

In all seriousness though, congrats on continuing your pursuit of becoming a law enforcement officer - the major cities of this country need more of them.

Actually, I think you are a good Canadian for joining the police to enforce what is right.

I love shooting too. It is very fun- infact, I'm going to the range again this week.

If Canada would do away with their restrictive gun ownership laws, I would move back to Alberta in a heart-beat. Until then, I'm comfortable here in Georgia.

Now, I bet you mentioned this before, but what police force are you joining, RCMP, Provincial, local?

That's what I shoot best with. I have the 17, 20, 21 & 22. Great guns...

Some humor for the new mountie...

In the days of the Wild West, there was a young cowboy who wanted more than anything to be the greatest gunfighter in the world.
He practiced every minute of his spare time, but he knew that he wasn't yet first-rate and that there must be something he was doing wrong.

Sitting in a saloon one Saturday night, he recognized an elderly
Man standing at the bar who -- in his day -- had the reputation of
being the fastest gun in the West. The young cowboy took a place next to the old-timer, bought him a drink and told him the story of his
great ambition.
"Do you think you could give me some tips?" he asked.
The old man looked him up and down and said, "Well, for one thing, you're wearing your gun too high. Tie the holster a little lower
down on your leg."
"Will that make me a better gunfighter?" asked the young man.
"Sure will," replied the old-timer.
The young man did as he was told, stood up, whipped out his
.44 and shot the bow tie off the piano player.
"That's terrific!" said the hot shot. "Got any more tips for me?"
"Yep," said the old man. "Cut a notch out of your holster where the
hammer hits it. That'll give you a smoother draw."
"Will that make me a better gunfighter?" asked the younger man.
"You bet it will," said the old-timer.
The young man took out his knife, cut the notch, stood up,
Drew his gun in a blur, then shot a cufflink off the piano player.
"Wow!" exclaimed the cowboy. "I'm learnin' somethin' here.
Got any more tips?"
The old man pointed to a large can in a corner of the saloon.
"See that axle grease over there? Coat your gun with it."
The young man went over to the can and smeared some of the
Grease on the barrel of his gun.
"No," said the old-timer, "I mean smear it all over the gun, handle
and all."
"Will that make me a better gunfighter?" asked the young man.
"No," said the old-timer, "but when Wyatt Earp gets done
Playing the piano, he's gonna shove that gun up your ass, and it won't hurt as much."

All kidding aside Greasespot, congratulations and keep your head low. Go out and get as much training and practice as you can. Have a purpose every time you practice, otherwise it's just "ballistic masturbation".

And remember which end of the magazine goes forward (hint: the pointy end of the bullets go toward the end of the gun with the hole in it). We don't want to see you in a picture like this:
