The major road between Gothenburg and Oslo has been closed due to a 400 meter long landslide just north of Gothenburg, that tore the E6 road to pieces, will take weeks or months until it´s re-opened. +10 cars and one truck
was caught in the landslide but no one reported seriously injured nor killed.

We'd be happy to send you about 300,000 illegal Mexican aliens who will work cheap and have that road fixed in no time at all! You have a good Welfare program in Sweden, right?

Problem isn´t labor but the climate, soil is soaked at the moment and part of the road was only 1,5 year old.

We have enough problems with labour as it is, no need to start throwing the poor illegals into the game, thank you very much. However, we could come over to you and start some landslides if you want...

Cheers

Sure, we're concerned for our lives. Just not as concerned as saving 9 bucks on a roundtrip to Ft. Myers.

One interesting thing to note, from what I've gathered from VG last night, this is the newly opened E6. I guess it's back to using the good old way for a while now.

Quite the detour:

Don't need Mexicans in Sweden. They got the Polaks  Wink (hides from LOT767-300ER) They are legal however due to nice EU regulations.

Looking at that map... What the hell is Uddevälla? I'd expect that sort of thing from our American friends, but not from the Norwegians... Try to muster the strength to resist putting dots over every single letter  duck   silly

Sounds like the Top Gear folks won't be racing from London to Oslo again in the near future.  Wink

Wouldn't surprise me if the did it anyway, with Jeremy stumping Richard and James by airlifting his vehicle over the collapsed part :P
