RHAAAAA!!!!!

Damn Microsoft, can't just plug an Xbox360 into the wall, eh?  banghead

Either way, need some advice. Should I fork over $100 for the wifi connector, or buy a modem/router (It will not be going through a computer or be in the same room as one)

Well I believe it all is coming to an end. Oh well, I guess we are gonna pretend.

Well, if one of your options is just the wifi connecter, I'd assume you already have a wireless network setup? Does your wireless router not give you the option of connecting a computer through an ethernet cord as well? How far away is your 360 from the wireless base station?

yes, we have 2 laptops, so we need one.

2 rooms over.

doesn't matter, I can't send cords throughout the first floor.

Well in that case, I'd spring for the wifi connector. I've been considering doing that for mine, but the antenna on the xbox unit would be so small, and I have a hard enough time getting a signal on my computer which has a cumbersome external antenna. I'll probably just wait till I move off to college, into a dorm that has better wireless access than my house.

Don't bother going for the 360 wireless adapter. Instead, find a wifi for the regular xbox. It should be about half the price and will work just the same.

Holy sh*ts and burritos.
