As a recent recipient of a Nintendo DS Lite, I was shocked to find it comes with a 110v only AC adapter and the manual cautions not to plug it in anywhere outside of the US or Japan (doesn't specify whether they mean the AC adapter or the entire device even with a correct voltage one). As my internet searches have only turned-up dodgy chinese USB chargers; I would like to know if I can simply buy the UK adapter (where I am going) for the device or if I have to buy a whole new DS...

...I have used a variety of power converters over the years and they simply kill most electronics and so am unwilling to use one again. Thanks in advance guys!
