So what all you people doing tonight?
Big plans? Party all night? Or just relaxing at home and not caring about all the fuzz?
In an hour I'm leaving to Paris with a few friends. We booked a room for tonight, planning to have a nice dinner first and then celebrate New Year on les Champs Elysées. Then tomorrow, hopefully without a hangover, we're going to Disneyland with free tickets we won

Still no plans, so I guess myself and another a.nutter will be heading out for another random night out in Abu Dhabi.
N Y Eve is usually an anti-climax, so I'm not too bothered about doing anything special for it really. All I know is I'll be drinking from this afternoon, so it is likely to be a heavy one!

That's awesome! Sounds like you have a wonderful time planned!
I'm just planning on staying at home. My roommate might be here, but I'm not really sure. But regardless, I'm staying home, don't really feel like partying. Haha.

I plan on sleeping with as many people as possible.
Eternal darkness we all should dread. It's hard to party when you're dead.

As far as I'm concerned you cannot get a place big enough, loud enough and crowded enough on NYE.
But, living just outside Dublin, I will have to settle for Tripod, the city's newest and biggest club, which will be the hottest ticket for the night. Hed Kandy are on and it's already sold out, but 250 tickets are being made available at the door at 10 o'clock.
I will be there, despite the rain and forecast 140 kph winds. It won't happen again for another year.

Not going anywhere tonight, a waste of money really. We have a bottle of Champagne that Mrs G won in a raffle, we're going to sit out in the hot tub at 23.55 to ring in the new year in style and watch the fireworks!
Tomorrow morning, as usual for New Years Day I'm off to MAN first thing while it's nice and quiet, go and get some photos of the movements with my new camera!

Tonight I'm going to be having a meal with family, Chinese take away as everybody is sick of cooking, then I shall probably find a few (packs of) beers and retreat upstairs to my computer. Failing that I can go downstairs and sing Auld Lang Syne with a bunch 80 year olds...

Well I just got home from Lisbon, and its now time to sleep for a couple hours!!
When I wake up I'll get a load of stuff together and head over to my best mates house where we will get shower together (joke), get ready, drink champagne and then off to a pub where we will meet up with some other friends and drink until we get kicked out!!
Tomorrow morning we will probably wake up in the same bed (altho im hoping to wake up with a handsome man rather than my best girl friend), cook breakfast and go for a walk around a big country park with the dog and feel very sorry for ourselves..
Ive had the worst year of my life... 2006 has officially sucked..
I really hope 2007 is not only the year for me, but for everyone else who has had a rough year..

First we're off to a theatre with friends/ex-neighbours to see a Dutch comedian's New Years Eve show. Then back to their place for a late dinner. And then hang around until midnight, wish them and all our ex-neighbours Happy New Year, avoid a second half-glass of champagne , watch fireworks and try to leave as soon as politeness allows.
I adore the people we are with, but I loathe New Year's Eve !!!!!
