I'm bored, and we haven't had one of these threads in a while, so tell us why you got the signature you've got right now.

Mine comes from 181st Ferengi Rule of Acquisition, which is from Star Trek.

Not even dishonesty can tarnish the shine of profit.

Sometimes, I tend to believe that it's true. What about your sigatures?

Mine is the title of the theme song from the movie "Eurotrip"... When I joined in December 2004, I was pumped because I had just bought the DVD of the movie, so I put it as my signature.

Yea, I've just never bothered to change it... I could though, because I have a mental database of literally hundreds of great lines I could use!

Basic cable? What channel do they play "Eurotrip" on with basic cable? FX or Comedy Central or something?

Help end world hunger-donate organs.

Actually, mine came from my friend's graduation theme...I was surprised that they were allowed to get away with it...especially the home made drawings they made to compliment it.

"Let's Roll"- Todd Beamer, United Airlines Flight 93, Sept. 11, 2001
^Pretty well explained already.

Might be changing that soon. Before the Todd Beamer quote, I used Gen Douglas MacArthur's "Whoever said the pen is mightier than the sword obviously never encountered automatic weapons."

I borrowed mine from "Drawn Together." There's a character that's only appeared a few times, Judge Fudge, and that's basically his tag line. Great line, had to be a part. I usually change my signature about every 3 months or so. I want to start using quotes from "The Usual Suspect," like "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist."

"And there won't be snow in Africa this Christmas" Yeah? No sh!t!
Already past holiday season just like the song it is from ("Do they know it's Christmas?"), but it still shows one of the dumbest lines in grammatically correct music in my view. I mean, you have a song that is about the suffering and hunger of people in Africa, and then you state that they don't get snow for Christmas? I have yet to understand the importance of that  Yeah sure .
