Hi guys and girls,

My dad reckons this is real, well he thought it was but I maintain that it was all CGI.

So can anyone tell me if it really is CGI.

Which part? The helicopters? It's a mix between real and CGI; the same technique was used in Forrest Gump for the fleets of choppers flying around. There were two or three real choppers there, and CGI was used to replicate and provide formation flying etc. There is more CGI than real video footage, though.

Yeah, there is a good amount of CGI there. It's pretty good CGI though!

Yeh some of it fooled me, untill some fighters fly very slow, but it wasnt down properly and they look to be going diagonal, and im sure that the nighthawks cant drop that sort of payload, only bombs.

It reminded me a bit of the CGI found in Independence Day, where the fleet of very closely formated F-15's are closing in on one of the ships. Too slow and looked fake at certain angles.

It more than likely is. Green Day is still amazing though, not really a U2 fan.

Yeah I didn't know Harriers could carry cargo like that.

The whole video is about what if instead of loading bombs and blowing things up, we instead loaded food and supplies to take care of this disaster. Read the sign at the end of the video.
