O'Donnel Evidently Not A B--ch But A Ba----d!

I saw the show yesterday morning and they all made nice on the set in front of the audience but evidently all is not well on the good ship View.

http://www.nypost.com/seven/01092007/gossip/pagesix/pagesix.htm

After O'Donnell's outburst at Walters yesterday, Geddie jumped in and told her, "You've crossed the line." O'Donnell retorted, "Cameras are now outside of my house where my wife and kids are."

For that statement to be true it must mean the Rosie has had addadictomy surgery. Maybe while she was on vacation? Or maybe she just uses the temporary method? In any case the definition of "husband" which is the other half of "wife" from Merriam-Webster is..

1 : a male partner in a marriage

I'd have a lot more respect for Barbra Walters if she would just get Trump to come on the program, look at Rosie and say "You're Fired". After a great decision to get rid of Star, Barbra made the bad decision of hiring Rosie. You can tell that Joy Behar has just been holding her tongue. Of course Elisabeth is just wall paper and shrinks everytime she is confronted so no help there. They need someone on that show that will tell O'Donnell when she is wrong and not back down to the ignoramus.

I know most of you don't care about this subject and that's fine but I just had to vent. A good day would be O'Donnell walking out in front of a bus. Not killed but injured bad enough to not be able to do anything public again. She's got enough money to retire and live a good life, shame she won't do it.

God I watched Barbara Walters try to say that all the things Donald said were not true and her body language just told me different. Rosie is the biggest pile of horseshit going. Nobody cares about her anymore. The whole "I'm a Lesbian" thing is so 90's and nobody cares. Her show sucked, her magazine sucked and all the employees of it told people she was a nasty asshole, she can't act and she is getting more chins by the minute. Donald owned her so bad and called her out when she tried to talk shit about Miss America when the fact is she is jealous of hot chicks and probably turned lesbian to have sex because no guys would go near her. She should raise the white flag and retire into obscurity. It would be the honorable thing to do.

The only reason this has gone on as long as it has is because Donald wanted to create enough attention for the Apprentice, which nobody knew was airing until all this crap started.

I don't think either of them look good. Donald is equally as big a slim ball in this as Rosie.

All this would probably go away if Rosie went on her big lesbo cruise and Donald had some new 20 yo. eastern European chick to bang.

Thats usually the best thing to do. However, with a thread like this, if you have a great slam locked and loaded...you have to pull the trigger.

Ordinarily you'd have a point but in this case, I think they are right. As NIKV69 said, evidently just before being banned:

And I agree with that assessment. Joy and Elisabeth looked and sounded like they were walking on eggshells and wanted no part of the conversation. I think Rosie may have once again signed her own death warrant and when the convenient time comes, she will thankfully disappear like Star did.

Of course, working in television I can't even begin to tell you how many times (Sunday, even!) I MoFo'd in 30 seconds my best friend at the station for turning her package at 9:59pm (airtime is 10:01pm).

At 10:38pm, 3 minutes after going off air we were having cocktails next door and laughing about stupid stuff we did in college.

You're talking about two different audiences and I don't think many would shed a tear if Rosie disappeared. The other difference is that Rosie needs the View a whole lot more than Trump needs the Apprentice. If the Apprentice were cancelled tomorrow people would still invite Trump on their shows just to find out what he was up too. How many shows have you seen Star Rowe on since right after she got dumped? How many shows did you see Rosie on after all that bad press at her civil trial? Rosie is living in the public eye on borrowed time if you ask me.

Barbra Walters doesn't throw fits, she just gets even. Ask Dianne Sawyer about that. wink

of course we get even. little miss coworker promised to change her ways after i threatened to dump her from the show and replace her with Cindy Sheehan in Cuba.

it's not a matter of mere Rosie needs the View. The View has profited hugely from her presence there, as have the affiliates. It's brought in a stronger lead in to the mid day news shows raising viewer points by a good 2 or 3 points in most ABC markets.

Yes, but there comes a point where no matter what the plus has been, it's being outweighed by the negative and Rosie may be reaching that point. There are a number of other people out there that could draw like Rosie and not be as repulsive at the same time.

Anyway, looks as if tomorrow might be worth tuning into the opening moments of the show according to this article...

http://apnews.myway.com/article/20070109/D8MI1AK01.html

Another woman caught in the middle - spokeswoman Cindi Berger, who represents both Walters and O'Donnell - said neither had any comment but cryptically suggested viewers tune in to "The View" on Wednesday.

"It will be a great show," she said.

You may be right:

Quote:
Donald Trump thinks he’s winning the war of words against nemesis Rosie O’Donnell, but in the war of popularity — The Donald is getting his butt kicked.

According to Nielsen Media Research, Trump’s "Apprentice" took a serious shellacking in the ratings this week, while Rosie continued to help the yentas on "The View" leave their daytime competition in the dust.

"The Apprentice" finished a distant third in its time slot on Sunday night, light years behind "Desperate Housewives" and "Cold Case," and barely in front of old "Family Guy" reruns on Fox. In fact, Trump’s lead-in show, "You’re the One That I Want," featuring pathetic Broadway wannabes, scored higher numbers. Ouch!

In contrast, Rosie’s been unstoppable ever since she took her first shot at the combed-over real estate magnate. "The View" has been a ratings juggernaut, picking up approximately 77,000 new viewers per week in its metered markets. The latest round of bickering caused nearly twice the surge.
Perhaps Trump should be Rosie’s apprentice!

Rosie and The View:  goldmedal
Donald and The Apprentice:  silvermedal

Rosie only has a 1 year contract with the show, from what I've read. She might decide not to come back after all this mess, but I doubt they will fire her. Despite what her co-stars might think of her, she has revived interest in the show. This thread is proof of that.  Wink
