Trading Standard Officers have ordered the urgent recall of a defective
product found to be faulty and dangerous.

Over the Christmas and New Year period, tests proved the components in the
product called "Chelsea FC" would fall apart when placed under the smallest
amount of pressure. Consumers first experienced problems last year, when it
was noted the product failed to work properly in Europe.

Complaints were made about it malfunctioning and then emitting a continuous
whining noise - usually in Portuguese. At the time the
complaints were ignored. But when the product started falling apart in
Britain over Christmas, the Trading Standards Authority took action. A
spokesman warned: "We particularly want to stress to parents that, with
"Chelsea FC", there is a genuine risk of choking that may end in tears come
May."

Despite assurances from the company behind the product that action was
taken to correct the faulty parts, including abandoning the use of the
highly unpredictable and sub-standard component "Robert Huth", malfunctions
have continued. Consumers have been urged to check the small print
carefully for the words "this product may contain traces of Shevchenko". If
that is the case buyers of the product are urged to put it back in its box
and return immediately. "Shevchenko" has been known to cause a severe
allergic reaction in many consumers, causing them to shout involuntarily
"You useless Ukranian t**t" and "For f*** sake, bring back Carlton Cole."

"We are the warrior race-Tough men in the toughest sport." Brian Noble, Head Coach, Great Britain Rugby League.

As much as I dislike Chelsea, particularly their Yankee-esque operating style, I agree with the Arjen Robben thing. Since Zidane's retirement, he is probably the next one who will deserve "best player in the world" and he is pretty well overlooked at Stamford Bridge.

Alireza,

Now Robben is great wing player..but "best player in the world"..had a nice chuckle with that one. He might win an Oscar for his theatrics though, his countryman Van Persie is fantastic though, Henry's heir apparent.

I think the diving is what has held him back. His speed and foot are amazing. Once he stops going to the Christiano Ronaldo School of Taking Dives, he will be frightening.

i Wouldnt have Van Persie as a top player,i would agree Robben is one of the best Wing aggresive players in the game,The thing that is effecting him is he isnt getting a run because of Shevchenko who is a waste of a player basically,Robben has had few close chances with Chelsea this season and scored first goal in like 10months but he has set up a few and very dangerous down the wing.

The thing thats costing Chelsea is defence, need to buy some new defenders as Carvalho,Cole are taking the workload with John terry out and his captainy is missed too but Lampard is trying hard and still playing his natural game just some loose defence at back is costing them in last few games....

Yes i admit Chelsea did struggle through busy XMAS period but without the liks of J Cole,Terry,Cech,Drogba and Robben they basically fielded a 2nd string attack still ful oof high class International players though but ones without little macth fitness and playing in unusuall positions.

Defense is key in Football. Look at how well Italy's star studded defense played in the World Cup. Other than the US and France, no one really challenged them. HSV sold Van Buyten and Boulhlarouz and look where they are now (unfortunately, it seems by favorite Bundesliga team is run by morons). I think if Chelsea wanted to do the smart thing, they would snatch up some strong defender from the MLS like Maestroeni. This would keep them from paying some idiotic fee to a European club, as Jose has said he doesn't want to do, and gain some credibility in the Man U dominated US market.
