For all or ( any ) snooker players out there I would like to ask you about your best snooker break.
Mine is currently 14 which I set on monday I'm very proud as I was playing somebody way outa my leauge! Be honest as I have a friend who claims to have a break of 105 and when I played him, he failed!
Can't really judge if this topic will be hot or not as snookers not really that popular.

I like to watch people playing snooker but I am not a snooker (or pool) guy myself. I rather play darts (or card games like poker) when I am in a pub/bar.

Nice! Finally a snooker thread. I haven't played snooker since November but have been watching it on TV. Always fascinating to watch them pull off their shots! Not just a case of hit and hope.
As for my highest break, about 28 I'm going to buy a new snooker cue over the weekend as my current one is too reflective making it hard to aim properly. LOL
Can you say 'Beer Can' without sounding like a Jamaican saying 'Bacon'?
Love watching it on the tele but It makes me feel bad about myself. I play snooker 3 - 4 times a week. my biggest fluke was from the break I tapped the reds and then snookered my opponent behind the green hehe
Whopps that was the break I was supposed to post. My bad. Average shot time of 3 to 4 seconds...amazing. I just can't get sick of watching that video!
I got to watch Ronnie in real during the Northern Ireland tournament last year. Great guy.
Quoting Banco (Reply 14): Pool for people with talent.
Quoting LTU932 (Reply 15): I don't really know about snooker, but I personally prefer a casual game of pool.
Pool is a nice alternative to snooker although nowhere near as challenging as snooker. It's hard enough to hit a ball on the far side of the table, let alone pot it. LOL

Highest break was in the mid 60s, and it took a bit of performance enhancers (bitter) to get there.
Regarding Ronnie, if there's any sportsman around today whose head I'd like to get inside of, it's his. When he's at his best he's truly the best snooker player the world has ever seen. At his worst, he's temperamental and surreal, but still hugely entertaining.
Like all the great personalities, he's cynical and comes across as a bit of a dick sometimes. He was playing Alan Robidoux, I think, and it was around the time he started to play some shots left-handed. Robidoux and others said it was disrespectful - a sign of Ronnie showing off, when he should always use his stronger right arm. Ronnie responded with something along the lines of 'Well, I can play with my left arm than Robidoux can with his right'.
