Depends on what you mean by "Southern"...
A traditional Sunday dinner in the south might be Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob.
Buth then there's "soul food", traditionally eaten by blacks in the south, maybe barbecued pork, collard greens, okra, sweet potatoes.
Southern food usually means inexpensive ingredients, frequently cooked with a lot of fat. Not particularly healthy (don't forget when these traditions started, people down south worked a whole lot harder than we do today), but man does it taste good!
What kind of ingredients do you have available? Maybe I can get you some recipes you can use...
