Okay so I am the Youth Pastor intern at my church and I help lead the Seniors in High School for guys. We were talking before we started our Bible study and I asked them how their week went. One of the guys named Matt was freakin hillarious! He said...
"So I was at school on Monday and I was walking back from Baseball practice and these 3 kids came up to me and asked if I was Matt. I of course said the one and only. They started to jump me! As they were beating me up and punching me I started to think of what I should do?! The only thing I could think of was 'What do you do when a bear attacks? You drop and act like your dead! So I dropped to the floor and acted like I was dead!' They left and and stopped punching me cuz they were scared that they killed me! It worked perfect! Thank goodness I got my Eagle badge in Boy Scouts!"
I was rolling on the floor laughing that he thought of bears when he was getting beat up haha.
Yes you are You will never out do me Oldladie! Muahahaha
Quoting MDorBust (Reply 2): Would you have preferred that he pondered WWJD for a while?
Well the WWJD thing is over rated and I do not live by that. Yes I am a devoted Christian but WWJD I do not find very practical at all and just a fad that people wore around their wrists while some dude got rich.
Quoting HPLASOps (Reply 4): Jesus preached to "turn the other cheek," and that's kinda sorta what Matt did.
Yes that is what Matt did and he was comended for not doing anything back. Although, defending himself and trying to flee would have been good as well.
Quoting HPLASOps (Reply 4): I didn't see much humor in a kid getting the shit kicked out of him by 3 random guys
Well he wasnt that bad. He just had a bruse on his sholder but didnt have anything else. He is a pretty strong guy and I would assume his body can take a beating.
Quoting Zruda (Reply 5): I can imagine QXatFAT could be virtually rolling
Yes I was not litterally on the floor laughing my head off. Its a figure of speak to explain that I was laughing. He was laughing as well which caused me to laugh. I guess you need to know Matt for it to be funny. Plus the dude can beat me up!
Quoting Zruda (Reply 5): praising the kid for smart reaction and then helping him solve the problem
Well we did comend him and we talked about why these kids would do that. Thanks for understanding at least Zruda.
I guess this has turned into a "You should have been there" thing

Im aware of what ROTFL means, so I guess I used some czech humour which doesnt sound same in english or any other language inconveniece. I work at the airport and use at least three languages every day, so sometimes it just gets mixed up .)

Ever thought what in case the kids had continued punching him when he was acting.
Better to Fight back, less of a risk.
BTW.When they asked him if he was Matt. That was a clue that possible something is wrong. After all it was a group.
