Need some help, SA TV is just SO behind (try season 5) and I'm a bit lost as to what is going on. Our video stores have those special caseetes that capture all the important UFO/abduction/CSM episodes, last one I saw was the UFO crash site that Scully was investigating in the Ivory Coast.
I need to know:
1) do we ever find out who Cigarette Smoking Man is? Is he Mulder's father?
2) Are the abduction/UFO consipracy threads ever broad to a close afer the "Fight the Future" cinematic release?
3) Who is Kersh, and why has he taken over Skinner's position?
4) How does Krycheck come back into the FBI fold during season 8
5) Give me the rundown on the Mulder abduction in season 8
6) Story begind Scully's baby
7) Mulder's dissapearance during season 9
8) Will there be a season 10?
9) Is David Duchovny out of the show for good? (I so hope not)

I'll REALLY appreciate some answers

1) The cigarette smoking man is not Mulder's but Krycheck's father. Krycheck's mother's name is Cassandra. (I think it's in season 7 but I'm not sure)

I'll try to find out the other questions.

Samantha was abducted when she was a child, as you probably know. Mulder was a witness of her abduction. Now, if I remember correctly he saw her again when he himself was abducted at the end of season 8 or 7 (I'm not sure about the number).
