Intersting. However if it is written in english I would suggest that it's not much more than propoganda. Convenient that it is written in a language that is not their own and a language of the country where the attack is planned.
If I had to speculate, i'd say it was a fake. It doesn't hurt to be vigilant though.

Hmm... must not have read the next paragraph.
...the language suggests the author was "British fundamentalist" — referring apparently to a Muslim fundamentalist from Britain in training in Kandahar.
At any rate, scary to hear what kind of plans they had, what kinds of things they MAY have been able to do.

I think it was blatently obvious that no where in the western world was safe from further attacks after september 11th. This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.

funny how its in a newspaper that isnt exactly pro-war, in fact its fairly left wing, doesnt agree on the new terror laws and think the usa should look at why terrorists hit it, oh and its is fairly pro-arab as well.
funny how the press in britain are free from government control as well.
This isnt the only attack planned, the police are investigating a man in india who told the Indian government that terrorists were planning to send planes into the Houses of Parliament.
It is amazing what can be accomplised when nobody takes the credit

Actually, this guy, Mohammed Afroze, is a Pakistani or Afghan. He has been established to be a member of Al-Qaida and trained at a US flight training school around the time the Sept.11 hijackers did.
According to his revelations, there was an extended plan that involved not just NY/DC by also planes being hijacked from London Heathrow airport to hit the House of Commons, Melbourne Tullamarine airport to hit the Rialto Towers in that city (Indian news reports say its a prominent building there - is it ?) and from New Delhi's Indira Gandhi airport to crash into the Indian Parliament. Right now British and Australian intelligence people are in India getting more out of this fellow. He's also linked to the 1999 Indian Airlines hijacking to Kandahar.
